Architecture is always and everywhere in the immediate vicinity. But there is also a lot of planning behind such buildings and spaces, which is usually conceived visually in advance. But such drawings can also be made afterwards.
Architectural drawings can be requested in two or three dimensions. It is important that such visualisations are either very technical or focus on depicting the atmosphere of interior and exterior spaces. This is usually also related to the focus of the illustration. Depending on the application, the illustration can be very realistic/technical or more stylised, which also depends on the drawing style and creation methods and means of the designer.
The applications of architectural visualisations are in many areas, such as:
Residential construction, office, commercial and public construction, competitions, road, railway and aircraft construction or even supporting structures and bridges.
Here, too, the purposes vary, for example, between quality control, marketing, presentation, orientation and more.
For residential areas, for example, various interior and exterior views of buildings, bird's-eye views of objects, animations and also 360° panoramas are possible.
3D visualisations or renderings are usually used where floor plans and views appear too abstract and incomprehensible. In addition, such visualisations also depict lighting moods and inhabited rooms to show the atmosphere of the building or room.
